In 1842 some smuggled yeast made its way to the Czech town of Pilsen (a region famous for its hops), and the rest is Pils-tory. Our Pilsner uses imported noble hops from Bavaria that give the beer an herbal, spicy aroma. Rich, complex, bready maltiness is combined with a soft bitterness and a long finish that may just make you wish the sun would never set.
